Bruce Bell - Chairman
B Comm., F. Fin, MSDIA Bruce Bell is a founding principal and shareholder of the Bellwether Group of Companies, and Managing Director of Bellwether Partners Limited. Bruce has thirty six years experience in financial services including funds management and stockbroking in Australia, London and New York. His career includes senior positions with A. C. Goode & Co, ANZ McCaughan, Burdett Buckeridge & Young (BBY) Limited, Chase NBA Group Ltd, AMP, National Mutual (AXA) and HSBC Securities. Prior to co-founding the Bellwether Group of Companies, Bruce held a number of senior roles with HSBC Securities Limited, as CEO HSBC Securities Australia and Executive Managing Director, Head of Equities for the USA.
Chris Davidson - Managing Director
Dip. Business Management Chris was born on a family pastoral holding in northern NSW. The property is mixed livestock and farming with predominately a cropping focus, both winter, summer and irrigation. Chris has twenty nine years experience in on-farm agribusiness. He subsequently took up a professional career with international agribusiness group, Elders Limited. In 1998 Chris joined Visy Industries, a large privately owned global packaging company. His primary role was to design and incorporate a waste water recovery re-use system as part of Visy's AU$450m kraft pulp and paper mill greenfield investment in southern NSW.
Allan Richardson - Executive Director
Allan has had 30 years experience in Agriculture. 19 of those years running a large family owned livestock and cropping enterprise. In 1996 Allan joined Heytesbury Pastoral Group, a large agribusiness company based in Perth, Western Australia with a large and diverse portfolio of pastoral cattle stations in the Kimberley region of Western Australia and the Northern Territory. Over a 3 year period, as General Manager of live export he was responsible for exporting 100,000 cattle annually into South East Asia and establishing a joint venture arrangement with a Malaysian Company to import live cattle, sheep and goats. He helped establish the first of many shipments of heifers in place of steers and bulls into the Indonesian, Philippine and Malaysian markets, a trend that is still commonplace in Asia today. In 2000 he joined Peters and Brownes, Western Australia's largest dairy company as General Manager of Liveringa Pastoral Company, his responsibility included overseeing the Companies Kimberley cattle stations and the development of a Red Brangus herd of about 40,000 head, and working with the companies contracted dairy farmers who supplied wholemilk to improve their operations in herd management, calf rearing, genetics and feeding systems. Allan has travelled extensively in the USA to study the US beef industry and the Dairy Industries 'Free Stall' concept.
Steven Sulyok - Chief Engineer
BE (Civil), GDipEcon Steven has 37 years experience in senior positions in Australia, Europe, Asia and Middle East. Since 1989 Stephan has undertaken full time involvement in the water industry. He has extensive experience in Water and Wastewater treatment Plant design, training and commissioning, and product development. He has recently retired from Visy Industries where he was General Manager of Pratt Water. He has been instrumental in pushing water reform onto the Australian public agenda.
James Simson - Project Manager
Associate Diploma, Farm Management James Simson has a background in agriculture with a strong 25 years experience in cropping and livestock management including planning, budgeting, finance, breeding programmes and production feeding. James' experience also includes 8 years in Structural and Civil Construction for commercial and industrial projects including cost planning, design, scheduling, project and field management, contractor and client liaison. James has a broad knowledge of agriculture and construction and has a proven track record of projects engaged. |
